A Prestigious History
Founded in Paris in 1522, at the height of the Renaissance, our firm embodies a centuries-old tradition of notarial expertise.
Located on the Left Bank, between the Hôtel Matignon and the National Assembly, it has always maintained close ties with the world of literature and the arts. Several of our signature rooms pay tribute to notable clients, such as Jean de La Fontaine, Denis Diderot, and more recently, Marguerite Duras.
The Growth of an Institutional and International Clientele
Beyond traditional notarial practice, which includes services dedicated to family law and residential real estate, our firm has developed particular expertise in institutional real estate, construction law, urban planning, and international law, with its unique demands. For many years, the firm was known as "Le Breton & Associés, notaries", before adopting a new name and modernizing its governance by transitioning to a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) in 2019.
Today, DLF Notaires is composed of 7 Partners, 5 Senior Associates (“notaires salariés”), and a team of 30 lawyers.
